So…Vocab Queen?
I spent an hour on freerice.com. Before you condemn me for wasting my time and not studying for finals, I swear I will get on that (by Monday). But yeah it was totally worth it because I got Level 56 and ended on Level 54! I feel rather righteously conceited now. Let me bask in it…and yes…I took photos to commemorate my accomplishment.
Oh yeah and this helped a lot of people too. Go Freerice. Stop Hunger…

that is some serious skills!
I managed a mere 26 lol
hope they get the rice!
Hmm my best was like 37 and this site really donates rice?
Another great charity site is AIDtoCHILDREN.com. It donates money to children in need through World Vision.
Check it out at http://www.aidtochildren.com
Canadian — hehe ^^ i hope so too
Frederic — I was on it for an hour so I had plenty of time to learn a lot of words! Freerice donates 20 grains of rice per correct word
John — Thanks for the heads up! I’ll add it to my blogroll.
Hey,
I just want to offer some advice, but I don’t want to come off as a jerk. For better quality images, you can use a screenshot. Press the Print Screen button on your keyboard. Then open Paint, Photoshop, or some other image editor and go to Edit, Paste. You can then crop the image to only what you want. You can also use Alt+Print Screen to take a screenshot of only the active window (the one on top).
Hope it helps! Best of luck with finals.
hi 404 — Actually that’s what I did at first! But you don’t come off as a jerk at all
Using screenshot, I cropped the image because the whole thing gets cut off on the blog (slim layout) and the font was too small (maybe it is pixelation?)
In any case, prnt scr was not working for me there :/
I thus used a camera!
freerice.com is a cool site! I guess it pays to poke around on other people’s blogs once in a while
i can’t top 42 or so. my command of words is um… ungood.
Reading — I remember hearing about that somewhere. I should read more since I want to be a better writer.
Hey,
Avanoo is a startup that is trying to help make the world better by letting people use a new support channel- web presence. Web users can go to Avanoo.com get a badge for a cause and start raising awareness and donations 24/7 effortlessly. And each time one of these badge is clicked, a donation is made to the organization on the badge. If you could put a badge on you badge or write about this growing movement, you would be helping to make the world a better place!
Thanks,
Rajesh
